Justice NV Ramana: భారత ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తిగా జస్టిస్ ఎన్వీ రమణ ప్రమాణ స్వీకారం, 2022 ఆగస్టు 26 వరకు పదవిలో కొనసాగనున్న తెలుగు తేజం
భారత 48వ ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తి (సీజేఐ)గా జస్టిస్ ఎన్వీ రమణ ఇవాళ ప్రమాణ స్వీకారం చేశారు. ఢిల్లీలోని రాష్ట్రపతి భవన్లో భారత రాష్ట్రపతి రామ్నాథ్ కోవింద్ ఆయనతో ప్రమాణ స్వీకారం చేయించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి వెంకయ్య నాయుడు, ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ సహా పలువురు కేంద్ర మంత్రులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
సీజేఐ ఎస్.ఎ.బొబ్డే పదవీకాలం నిన్నటితో ముగియడంతో ఇవాళ ఆయన స్థానంలో జస్టిస్ రమణ బాధ్యతలు స్వీకరించారు. 2022 ఆగస్టు 26 వరకు ఆయన ఈ పదవిలో కొనసాగనున్నారు.
భారత ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తి పదవిని అలంకరించిన రెండో తెలుగు వ్యక్తిగా జస్టిస్ రమణ చరిత్ర సృష్టించారు. 2014 ఫిబ్రవరి 17న జస్టిస్ రమణ సుప్రీంకోర్టు న్యాయమూర్తిగా పదోన్నతి పొందిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. అంతకు ముందు ఆయన ఢిల్లీ హైకోర్టు చీఫ్ జస్టిస్గా సేవలు అందించారు.
