Ashim Banerjee Dies: మమతా బెనర్జీ ఇంట్లో విషాదం, సీఎం మమతా బెనర్జీ సోదరుడు కరోనాతో కన్నుమూత, హాస్పిటల్లో చికిత్స పొందుతూ తుది శ్వాస విడిచిన ఆషీమ్ బెనర్జీ
పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి మమతా బెనర్జీ ఇంట్లో విషాదం నెలకొంది. ఆమె సోదరుడు ఆషీమ్ బెనర్జీ కోవిడ్(60) బారినపడి కన్నుమూశారు. నెల రోజుల క్రితం ఆశిం బెనర్జీ కరోనా సోకగా.. చికిత్స నిమిత్తం కోల్కతాలోని మెడికా ఆస్పత్రిలో చేరారు. చికిత్స సమయంలో ఆషీమ్ ఆరోగ్యం మరింత క్షీణించడంతో ఐసీయూకి తరలించి వైద్యం కొనసాగించారు.
శుక్రవారం నుంచి పరిస్థితి విషమించడంతో వైద్యులు ఆయనను బతికించడానికి చేసిన ప్రయత్నాలు ఫలించలేదు. దీంతో హాస్పిటల్లో చికిత్స పొందుతూ శనివారం ఉదయం ఆషీమ్ తుదిశ్వాస విడిచినట్లు మెడికా ఆస్పత్రి ఛైర్మన్ డాక్టర్ అలోక్ రాయ్ తెలిపారు
కాగా సీఎం మమతాకు ఆరుగురు సోదరులు కాగా.. ఆశిం బెనర్జీ చిన్నవాడు. వీళ్లందరూ కోల్కతాలోని కాళీఘాట్లో నివాసంలోనే ఉంటారు. ఇక కోవిడ్ నిబంధనల ప్రకారం ఆషీమ్ అంత్యక్రియలను శనివారం సాయంత్రం నిర్వహించనున్నారు. మరోవైపు పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్లో కోవిడ్ కేసులు రికార్డు స్థాయిలో నమోదవుతున్నాయి. శుక్రవారం రోజు కొత్తగా 20,846 మందికి కరోనా సోకింది. దీంతో మొత్తం కేసుల సంఖ్య 10,94,802కు చేరింది. మరణాల సంఖ్య 12,993కు పెరిగింది. ఆషీమ్ బెనర్జీ మరణంపై రాజస్థాన్ సీఎం అశోక్ గెహ్లట్ సంతాపం ప్రకటించారు.
