Mucormycosis in India: దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా 8,848 బ్లాక్ ఫంగస్ కేసులు నమోదు, ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా వెల్లడించిన కేంద్ర మంత్రి సదానంద గౌడ, గుజరాత్లో అత్యధికంగా 2,281 కేసులు నమోదు
బ్లాక్ ఫంగస్ (మ్యూకోర్మైకోసిస్) మెల్లిగా విస్తరిస్తోంది. ఇప్పటి వరకు దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా 8,848 బ్లాక్ ఫంగస్ కేసులు నమోదు అయినట్లు కేంద్ర మంత్రి సదానంద గౌడ ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా ప్రకటించారు. ఈ రోగులకు 23 వేల అంఫోటెరిసిన్-బీ వ్యాక్సిన్ వయల్స్ను ఆయా రాష్ట్రాలకు, కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాలకు పంపామని తెలిపారు.
బ్లాక్ ఫంగస్ (మ్యూకోర్మైకోసిస్) మెల్లిగా విస్తరిస్తోంది. ఇప్పటి వరకు దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా 8,848 బ్లాక్ ఫంగస్ కేసులు నమోదు అయినట్లు కేంద్ర మంత్రి సదానంద గౌడ ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా ప్రకటించారు. ఈ రోగులకు 23 వేల అంఫోటెరిసిన్-బీ వ్యాక్సిన్ వయల్స్ను ఆయా రాష్ట్రాలకు, కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాలకు పంపామని తెలిపారు. గుజరాత్లో అత్యధికంగా 2,281 కేసులు నమోదు కావడంతో ఆ రాష్ట్రానికి 5,800 వయల్స్ పంపిణీ చేసినట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు. మహారాష్ర్టకు 5,090 వయల్స్, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్కు 2,300 వయల్స్, తెలంగాణకు 890 వయల్స్ ఢిల్లీకి 670 వయల్స్ కేటాయించామన్నారు. ఏపీలో 910, తెలంగాణలో 350 కేసులు నమోదు కాగా, ఢిల్లీలో 197 కేసులు నమోదు అయ్యాయి.
కాగా బ్లాక్ ఫంగస్ చికిత్సకు వినియోగించే అంఫోటెరిసిన్-బీ వ్యాక్సిన్ను ఉత్పత్తి చేసేందుకు మరో కొత్తగా ఐదు ఫార్మా కంపెనీలకు అనుమతి లభించిందని, మూడు రోజుల్లో అన్ని రకాల అనుమతులు మంజూరు చేయనున్నట్లు నిన్న కేంద్రం ప్రకటించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. అలాగే అంఫోటెరిసిన్-బీ ఆరు లక్షల ఇంజక్షన్ల దిగుమతికి భారతీయ కంపెనీలు ఆర్డర్ ఇచ్చినట్లు తెలిపింది.
