హిమాచల్ప్రదేశ్ మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి, కాంగ్రెస్ సీనియర్ నేత వీరభద్ర సింగ్(87) కన్నుమూశారు. వెంటిలేటర్పై చికిత్స పొందుతూ గురువారం తెల్లవారుజామున తుదిశ్వాస విడిచినట్లు ఆసుపత్రి సూపరిండెంట్ వెల్లడించారు. 1934 జూన్ 23న హిమాచల్లోని సరహాన్ ప్రాంతంలో జన్మించిన వీరభద్ర సింగ్.. 1960ల్లో రాజకీయాల్లోకి వచ్చారు. తొమ్మిది సార్లు ఎమ్మెల్యేగా, ఐదు సార్లు ఎంపీగా గెలిచారు. హిమాచల్ప్రదేశ్కు ఆరు సార్లు ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా పనిచేశారు.వీరభద్ర సింగ్ మృతి పట్ల రాష్ట్రపతి రామ్ నాథ్, ప్రధాని మోదీ సహా పలువురు రాజకీయ ప్రముఖులు విచారం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
As a mark of respect to former CM and Congress leader Virbhadra Singh, the Government of Himachal Pradesh has decided to observe three days of state mourning, from 8th July to 10th July.
