కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం (ఈసీ) కీలక ప్రకటన విడుదల చేసింది. లోక్ సభ ఎన్నికలు2024లో ప్రారంభ దశ ఏప్రిల్ 19 ఉదయం 7 గంటల నుంచి ఏడవ దశ పోలింగ్ జరగాల్సిన జూన్ 1న సాయంత్రం 6.30 గంటల వరకు ఎగ్జిట్ పోల్స్ ఇవ్వడానికి వీల్లేదని సూచించింది.
Newdelhi, Mar 30: కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం (ఈసీ) (Election Commission) కీలక ప్రకటన విడుదల చేసింది. లోక్ సభ ఎన్నికలు (Loksabha Elections) 2024లో ప్రారంభ దశ ఏప్రిల్ 19 ఉదయం 7 గంటల నుంచి ఏడవ దశ పోలింగ్ జరగాల్సిన జూన్ 1న సాయంత్రం 6.30 గంటల వరకు ఎగ్జిట్ పోల్స్ ఇవ్వడానికి వీల్లేదని సూచించింది. లోక్ సభ, 4 రాష్ట్రాల అసెంబ్లీ, ఉపఎన్నికలకు ఓటింగ్ పూర్తయ్యే వరకు ఎగ్జిట్ పోల్స్ (Exit Polls) నిర్వహించడం, ప్రచురించడం నిషిద్ధమని హెచ్చరిస్తూ నోటిఫికేషన్ జారీ చేసింది. ప్రజాప్రాతినిధ్య చట్టంలోని నిబంధనల ప్రకారం పోలింగ్ సమయంలో ఒపీనియన్ పోల్, పోల్ సర్వే ఫలితాలను ప్రచురించడం కూడా నిషేధించినట్టు గుర్తుచేసింది.
