హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్, ఉత్తరాఖండ్ లలో ఎడతెరిపి లేకుండా కురుస్తున్న భారీ వర్షాలకు ఇప్పటి వరకు 54 మంది ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. కొండచరియలు విరిగిపడడంతో జాతీయ రహదారులపై రవాణా స్తంభించింది. పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఇళ్లు ధ్వంసమయ్యాయి.
Newdelhi, Aug 15: హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ (Himachal Pradesh), ఉత్తరాఖండ్ (Uttarakhand) లలో ఎడతెరిపి లేకుండా కురుస్తున్న భారీ వర్షాలకు (Heavy Rains) ఇప్పటి వరకు 54 మంది ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. కొండచరియలు విరిగిపడడంతో జాతీయ రహదారులపై రవాణా స్తంభించింది. పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఇళ్లు ధ్వంసమయ్యాయి. నదులు ఉప్పొంగి ప్రవహిస్తున్నాయి. మృతి చెందిన 54 మందిలో 51 మంది ఒక్క హిమాచల్ప్రదేశ్లోనే మృతి చెందడం గమనార్హం. ఉత్తరాఖండ్ లోముగ్గురు మరణించగా మరో 10 మంది గల్లంతయ్యారు. కొండచరియలు విరిగిపడడంతో భవనాలు ధ్వంసమయ్యాయి. బద్రీనాథ్, కేదార్నాథ్, గంగోత్రి వెళ్లే రహదారులపై రవాణాకు ఆటంకం ఏర్పడింది. దీంతో చార్ధామ్ యాత్రను రెండు రోజులపాటు నిలిపివేశారు.
