Congenital Heart Diseases: దేశంలో 2 లక్షల మంది పిల్లలకు గుండె జబ్బులు.. పుట్టుకతో వచ్చినా చికిత్సకు అవకాశం
దేశంలో ఏటా రెండు లక్షల మంది గుండె సంబంధిత జబ్బులతో పుడుతున్నారు. అయితే పుట్టుకతో గుండె జబ్బులు ప్రాణాంతకం కాదని వైద్య నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు.
Newdelhi, Feb 18: దేశంలో ఏటా రెండు లక్షల మంది గుండె సంబంధిత జబ్బులతో (Congenital Heart Diseases) పుడుతున్నారు. అయితే పుట్టుకతో గుండె జబ్బులు (Heart Attacks) ప్రాణాంతకం కాదని వైద్య నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు. పుట్టుకతో వచ్చే గుండె జబ్బుల నివారణ దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా అలాంటి జబ్బులను వెంటనే గుర్తించి పిల్లలకు చికిత్స చేయవచ్చని ఢిల్లీలోని సీకే బిర్లా ఆసుపత్రి కార్డియాలజీ విభాగం కన్సల్టెంట్ సంజీవ్ కుమార్ గుప్తా అన్నారు. అయితే పుట్టుకతో వచ్చే గుండె జబ్బులను గుర్తుపట్టలేనంత లక్షణ రహితంగా ఉంటాయని చెప్పారు. ఈ గుండె లోపాలు ఊపిరితిత్తుల ద్వారా అసాధారణ రక్త ప్రవాహానికి కారణమవుతాయని, వేగంగా శ్వాస తీసుకోవడం, బరువు పెరగడం, చర్మం నీలం రంగులోకి మారడం లాంటి లక్షణాలు మాత్రం కనిపిస్తాయని తెలిపారు.
