మాజీ డీజీపీ ప్రసాద్రావు గుండెపోటుతో అమెరికాలో (Former DGP Prasada Rao Dies:) కన్నుమూశారు. తీవ్రమైన ఛాతి నొప్పితో బాధపడుతున్న ప్రసాద్రావును కుటుంబసభ్యులు ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించగా.. చికిత్స పొందుతూ ఆయన తుది శ్వాస (Former dgp prasada rao passed away) విడిచారు.
అర్ధరాత్రి ఒంటిగంటకు ఆయన మరణించినట్లు వైద్యులు తెలిపారు. ప్రసాద్రావు గతంలో ఏసీబీ డీజీ, ఆర్టీసీ ఎండీగా పనిచేశారు. కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ కార్యదర్శిగా, హైదరాబాద్ సీపీ, విశాఖ ఎస్పీగా ఆయన బాధ్యతలు నిర్వర్తించారు. బి.ప్రసాదరావు 1979 బ్యాచ్ ఐపీఎస్ అధికారి. అ.ని.శా. డీజీపీగా, హైదరాబాద్ సీపీ, విశాఖ ఎస్పీగా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహించారు. 1997లో ఆయన భారత పోలీసు, 2006లో రాష్ట్రపతి పతకాలు అందుకున్నారు. ‘వర్డ్ పవర్ టు మైండ్ పవర్’ అనే పుస్తకాన్ని రాశారు.
