నంద్యాల జిల్లా ఆత్మకూరు అటవీశాఖ కార్యాలయంలో ఉంచిన ఉన్న నాలుగు పులి కూనలను గురువారం రాత్రి 10.30 గంటల సమయంలో ప్రత్యేక వాహనంలో తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీవెంకటేశ్వర జువాలాజికల్ పార్కుకు తరలించారు.ప్రిన్సిపల్ చీఫ్ కన్జర్వేటర్ ఆఫ్ ఫారెస్ట్ ఆదేశాల మేరకు ఈ చర్యలు తీసుకున్నట్టు నాగార్జున సాగర్–శ్రీశైలం ఫీల్డ్ డైరెక్టర్ శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి తెలిపారు.
నంద్యాల జిల్లా ఆత్మకూరు అటవీశాఖ కార్యాలయంలో ఉంచిన ఉన్న నాలుగు పులి కూనలను గురువారం రాత్రి 10.30 గంటల సమయంలో ప్రత్యేక వాహనంలో తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీవెంకటేశ్వర జువాలాజికల్ పార్కుకు తరలించారు.ప్రిన్సిపల్ చీఫ్ కన్జర్వేటర్ ఆఫ్ ఫారెస్ట్ ఆదేశాల మేరకు ఈ చర్యలు తీసుకున్నట్టు నాగార్జున సాగర్–శ్రీశైలం ఫీల్డ్ డైరెక్టర్ శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి తెలిపారు. కొంత వయసు వచ్చాక వేటలో తర్ఫీదునిచ్చి తిరిగి అడవిలో ప్రవేశ పెడతామని చెప్పారు. కాగా తల్లితో పులి కూనలను కలిపేందుకు నాలుగు రోజులపాటు అటవీ శాఖ అధికారులు చేసిన ప్రయత్నాలు విఫలమయ్యాయి. దీంతో పులి కూనల సంరక్షణను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని తిరుపతి జూ పార్క్కు తరలించారు.
