తెలంగాణ అసెంబ్లీ బడ్జెట్ సమావేశాలు సోమవారం కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.హుక్కా సెంటర్లపై నిషేధానికి సంబంధించి సిగరెట్ అండ్ అదర్ టొబాకో ప్రొడక్ట్స్ అమెండ్మెంట్ బిల్లును ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తరపున మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు సభలో ప్రవేశపెట్టారు.

తెలంగాణ అసెంబ్లీ బడ్జెట్ సమావేశాలు సోమవారం కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.హుక్కా సెంటర్లపై నిషేధానికి సంబంధించి సిగరెట్ అండ్ అదర్ టొబాకో ప్రొడక్ట్స్ అమెండ్మెంట్ బిల్లును ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తరపున మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు సభలో ప్రవేశపెట్టారు. దీనిపై ఎలాంటి చర్చలేకుండానే బిల్లును సభ ఏకగ్రీవంగా ఆమోదించింది. ఈ మేరకు స్పీకర్ ప్రసాద్కుమార్ ప్రకటించారు. ఈ బిల్లు రాకతో ఇక నుంచి తెలంగాణలో హుక్కా సెంటర్లు మూతపడనున్నాయి. హుక్కా నిషేధం అమల్లోకి రానుంది.
బిల్లు ప్రవేశపెట్టిన సందర్భంగా మంత్రి శ్రీధర్బాబు మాట్లాడుతూ.. మాదకద్రవ్యాల మహమ్మారి నుంచి యువతను కాపాడేందుకు ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. సిగరెట్ పొగ కంటే హుక్కా మరింత హానికరమని చెప్పారు. యువతకు హుక్కా వ్యసనమయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందన్నారు.
