Cow Dung as Rocket Fuel: ఆవు పేడతో పనిచేసే రాకెట్ ఇంజిన్.. విజయవంతంగా నడిపిన జపాన్ శాస్త్రవేత్తలు
ఆవు పేడ నుంచి తీసిన లిక్విడ్ బయోమీథేన్ తో జపాన్ సైంటిస్టులు రాకెట్ ఇంజిన్ ను విజయవంతంగా నడిపించారు. దీనికి సంబంధించిన వరుస పరీక్షలు సక్సెస్ అయ్యాయని జపాన్ స్పేస్ స్టార్టప్ ‘ఇంటర్ స్టెల్లార్ టెక్నాలజీస్’ (ఐఎస్టీ) గురువారం ప్రకటించింది.
Tokyo, Dec 15: ఆవు పేడ (Cow Dung) నుంచి తీసిన లిక్విడ్ బయోమీథేన్ (Biomethane) తో జపాన్ సైంటిస్టులు (Japan Scientists) రాకెట్ ఇంజిన్ (Rocket Engine) ను విజయవంతంగా నడిపించారు. దీనికి సంబంధించిన వరుస పరీక్షలు సక్సెస్ అయ్యాయని జపాన్ స్పేస్ స్టార్టప్ ‘ఇంటర్ స్టెల్లార్ టెక్నాలజీస్’ (ఐఎస్టీ) గురువారం ప్రకటించింది. హోకైడో లోని ‘హోకైడో స్పేస్ పోర్ట్ లాంచ్ కాంప్లెక్స్’లో సైంటిస్టులు ఈ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించినట్టు తెలిపింది. ‘సాంప్రదాయ రాకెట్ ఇంజిన్ల తో పోల్చితే లిక్విడ్ బయోమీథేన్ ఆధారిత రాకెట్ ఇంజిన్ల ఖర్చు చాలా తక్కువని ఐఎస్టీ తెలిపింది.
