Tokyo, June 1: ప్రమాదాలు, పుచ్చిపోవడం వంటి కారణాలతో ఒకసారి దంతాలు (Teeth Lose) ఊడిపోతే మళ్లీ తిరిగి రావు. ఇంప్లాంట్స్ చేసుకొన్న కృత్రిమ దంతాలతోనే (Artificial Teeth) నెట్టుకురావాలి. అయితే, ఈ అవసరం లేదని, దంతాలు ఊడిన చోట కొత్త దంతాలు పెరగడం సాధ్యమే అంటున్నారు జపాన్ కు శాస్త్రవేత్తలు. దీని కోసం ఒక యాంటీబాడీ డ్రగ్ను తయారుచేశారు. సాధారణంగా వయసు పెరిగిన తర్వాత దంతాల పెరుగుదలను ఉటెరిన్ సెన్సిటైజేషన్-అసోసియేటెడ్ జీన్-1(యూఎస్ఏజీ-1) అనే ప్రొటీన్ నిలిపివేస్తుంది. ఈ ప్రొటీన్ ను తాము తయారుచేసిన డ్రగ్ లక్ష్యంగా చేసుకొని డీయాక్టివేట్ చేస్తుందని, తద్వారా దంతాలు మళ్లీ పెరగడానికి ఉన్న అడ్డంకిని తొలగిస్తుందని శాస్త్రవేత్తలు తెలిపారు.
