Newdelhi, May 19: ప్రపంచ వింతల్లో ఒకటైన ఈజిప్టు పిరమిడ్ల (Egypt Pyramids) నిర్మాణం వెనుక ఉన్న మిస్టరీ ఎట్టకేలకు వీడినట్టే కనిపిస్తున్నది. పిరమిడ్ల నిర్మాణానికి ఉపయోగించిన వందల టన్నుల బరువున్న భారీ బండరాళ్లను అక్కడికి ఎలా తరలించారన్న విషయం ఎవరికీ అంతుబట్టలేదు. అయితే, భూమిలో పూడుకుపోయిన 64 కి.మీ. పొడవైన నైలునది పాయ ‘అర్హామత్’ను ఉపగ్రహ చిత్రాల ఆధారంగా పరిశోధకులు తాజాగా గుర్తించారు. వేల ఏండ్ల నుంచి ఎడారి కింద మరుగున పడిన ఈ పాయ 31 పిరమిడ్ల పక్క నుంచి ప్రవహిస్తున్నదని తెలిపారు. పిరమిడ్ల నిర్మాణానికి ఉపయోగించిన వందల టన్నుల బరువున్న భారీ బండరాళ్లను ఈ పాయ ద్వారానే రవాణా చేశారని, ఈ క్రమంలోనే వాటి నిర్మాణం సాధ్యమైనట్టు యూనివర్సిటీ ఆఫ్ నార్త్ కరోలినా విల్మింగ్టన్ అధ్యయనం తేల్చింది.
