Texas Dairy Farm Explosion: భారీ పేలుడులో 18 వేల ఆవులు మృతి, టెక్సాస్‌‌లో డెయిరీ ఫాంలో ఘోర అగ్నిప్రమాదం, పేలుడు తర్వాత అధిక మొత్తంలో మీథేన్‌ విడుదల

అమెరికాలోని (USA) టెక్సాస్‌ (Texas)లో గల డిమ్మిట్‌లోని(Dimmitt) సౌత్‌ ఫోర్క్‌ డెయిరీ ఫాంలో హఠాత్తుగా భారీ పేలుడు సంభవించి.. దాదాపు 18,000 ఆవులు మృత్యువాత పడ్డాయి. అందులో పని చేస్తున్న ఓ మహిళకు తీవ్రంగా గాయాలయ్యాయి. ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయిన ఆవుల విలువ 36 మిలియన్‌ డాలర్లకుపైగా ఉంటుందని అంచనా.

2013 తర్వాత డెయిరీ ఫాంలలో ఇంతపెద్ద ప్రమాదం జరగడం ఇదే తొలిసారిని అక్కడి జంతు సంరక్షణశాఖ అధికారులు చెబుతున్నారు. ఈ ఘటన ఏప్రిల్‌ 10న జరిగినట్లు సమాచారం. డెయిరీఫాంలోని యంత్రాలు బాగా వేడెక్కడం వల్లనే ప్రమాదం జరిగి ఉంటుందని అధికారులు ప్రాథమిక అంచనాకు వచ్చారు. పేలుడు జరిగిన తర్వాత ఒక్కసారిగా మీథేన్‌ అధికమొత్తంలో విడుదలైందని అందుకే ఆవులు మృతి చెంది ఉంటాయని చెబుతున్నారు.
