Govt Extends Rs 300 Subsidy on LPG Cylinder: వంట గ్యాస్ వినియోగదారులకు గుడ్ న్యూస్, రూ.300 సబ్సిడీ మరో సంవత్సరం పాటు పొడిగింపు
Ujjwala Yojana- RS 300 Subsidy On Cylinder: ఏప్రిల్ 1 నుంచి వచ్చే ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంలో ఉజ్వల లబ్ధిదారులకు 14.2 కిలోల సబ్సిడీపై రూ.300 పొడిగించేందుకు క్యాబినెట్ ఆమోదం తెలిపిందని కేంద్ర మంత్రి పీయూష్ గోయల్ తెలిపారు. దీని ప్రకారం ప్రధాన మంత్రి ఉజ్వల యోజన (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana) కింద కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం వంట గ్యాస్‌పై సబ్సిడీ 2025 మార్చి 31 వరకు పొడిగించబడింది. ప్రస్తుతం కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం అర్హులైన వినియోగదారులకు ప్రతి ఎల్‌పీజీ సిలిండర్‌కు రూ.300 చొప్పున ఏడాదికి 12 సిలిండర్లకు సబ్సిడీ అందిస్తోంది. ఇది గతంలో రూ.100 ఉండగా 2023 అక్టోబరులో రూ.300కి పెంచారు. సబ్సిడీని ఒక సంవత్సరం పొడిగించడం వల్ల ప్రభుత్వంపై అదనంగా రూ.12,000 కోట్ల భారం పడుతుందని అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు.
ప్రభుత్వం అర్హులైన పేదలకు 14.2 కిలోల సిలిండర్‌తో ప్రతి కొత్త గ్యాస్ కనెక్షన్‌కు రూ.1600 నగదు బదిలీ చేస్తుంది. ఇదే 5 కిలోల సిలిండర్‌కైతే రూ.1150 అందిస్తోంది. ఇందులో సిలిండర్ సెక్యూరిటీ డిపాజిట్ - 14.2 కిలోల సిలిండర్‌కు రూ.1250, 5 కిలోల సిలిండర్‌కైతే రూ.800, రెగ్యులేటర్ కోసం రూ.150, ఎల్‌పీజీ ట్యూబ్‌ కోసం రూ.100, డొమెస్టిక్ గ్యాస్ కన్స్యూమర్ కార్డ్ కోసం రూ.25, ఇన్‌స్పక్షన్‌, ఇన్‌స్టాలేషన్ చార్జీ కింద రూ.75 ఉంటాయి. వీటన్నంటినీ ప్రభుత్వమే భరిస్తోంది.
