దేశరాజధాని వేదికగా మరోసారి కదం తొక్కేందుకు రైతులు సిద్ధమయ్యారు. పలు డిమాండ్ల సాధన కోసం ఢిల్లీ ఛలోను ప్రారంభించారు. పంజాబ్‌, హర్యానా ఇలా సమీప ప్రాంతాల నుంచి రైతులు తమ యాత్రను ప్రారంభించారు. అయితే ముందుగానే అప్రమత్తమైన పోలీసులు.. సరిహద్దుల్లో కంచెలతో భారీగా మోహరించారు.
దేశరాజధాని వేదికగా మరోసారి కదం తొక్కేందుకు రైతులు సిద్ధమయ్యారు. పలు డిమాండ్ల సాధన కోసం ఢిల్లీ ఛలోను ప్రారంభించారు. పంజాబ్‌, హర్యానా ఇలా సమీప ప్రాంతాల నుంచి రైతులు తమ యాత్రను ప్రారంభించారు. అయితే ముందుగానే అప్రమత్తమైన పోలీసులు.. సరిహద్దుల్లో కంచెలతో భారీగా మోహరించారు. ఇదిలా ఉంటే నేడు ఢిల్లీకి రైతుల పాదయాత్ర దృష్ట్యా బవానా స్టేడియంను జైలుగా మార్చాలన్న కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ప్రతిపాదనను ఢిల్లీ ప్రభుత్వం తిరస్కరించింది. కేంద్రం ప్రతిపాదనపై ఢిల్లీ ప్రభుత్వ హోం మంత్రి కైలాష్ గెహ్లాట్ మాట్లాడుతూ "రైతుల డిమాండ్లు నిజమైనవే. శాంతియుతంగా నిరసనలు చేయడం ప్రతి పౌరునికి రాజ్యాంగం కల్పించిన హక్కు. అందుకే రైతులను అరెస్టు చేయడం సరికాదని తెలిపారు.
