2022 డిసెంబ‌ర్‌లో ఉత్త‌రాఖండ్‌లోని రూర్కీ వ‌ద్ద రిష‌బ్ పంత్ కారు ప్ర‌మాదానికి గురైన స‌మ‌యంలో ఆ క్రికెట‌ర్‌ను ఇద్ద‌రు వ్య‌క్తులు కాపాడారు. భారత క్రికెటర్ ను కాపాడిన ఇద్ద‌రిలో 25 ఏళ్ల ర‌జ‌త్ కుమార్(Rajat Kumar) ఒక‌రు. అయితే ఫిబ్రవరి 9న ర‌జ‌త్ ఆత్మ‌హ‌త్య‌కు ప్ర‌య‌త్నించిన‌ట్లు తెలిసింది. ఉత్త‌ర‌ప్ర‌దేశ్‌లోని ముజాఫ‌ర్‌న‌గ‌ర్ జిల్లాకు చెందిన అత‌ను త‌న గ‌ర్ల్‌ఫ్రెండ్‌తో క‌లిసి విషం తీసుకున్నాడు. ఈ ఘటనలో ర‌జ‌త్ గ‌ర్ల్‌ఫ్రెండ్ ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయింది. ర‌జ‌త్ కుమార్ ప్ర‌స్తుతం క్రిటిక‌ల్ కండీష‌న్‌లో ఉన్నాడు.
