CAA Case in Supreme Court: సీఏఏను వ్యతిరేకిస్తూ దాఖలైన 200కు పైగా పిటిషన్లపై నేడు సుప్రీంకోర్టులో విచారణ
దేశంలో పౌరసత్వ సవరణ చట్టం (సీఏఏ) అమలు చేయొద్దంటూ దాఖలైన పిటిషన్లపై ఇవాళ సుప్రీంకోర్టు విచారించనుంది. భారత ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తి జస్టిస్ డీవై చంద్రచూడ్‌ తో కూడిన త్రిసభ్య ధర్మాసనం ఈ పిటిషన్లను విచారించనుంది.
Newdelhi, Mar 19: దేశంలో పౌరసత్వ సవరణ చట్టం (సీఏఏ-CAA) అమలు చేయొద్దంటూ దాఖలైన పిటిషన్లపై ఇవాళ సుప్రీంకోర్టు (Supreme Court) విచారించనుంది. భారత ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తి జస్టిస్ డీవై చంద్రచూడ్‌ తో కూడిన త్రిసభ్య ధర్మాసనం ఈ పిటిషన్లను విచారించనుంది. సీఏఏ అమలుపై స్టే విధించాలంటూ కేరళకు చెందిన ఇండియన్ యూనియన్ ముస్లిం లీగ్ ఈ నెల 12న కోర్టును ఆశ్రయించింది. 2019 నుంచి ఇప్పటివరకు దాఖలైన 200కు పైగా పిటిషన్లను కలిపి విచారిస్తామని సుప్రీంకోర్టు ధర్మాసనం స్పష్టం చేసింది. మరోవైపు ఎంఐఎం చీఫ్ అసదుద్దీన్ ఓవైసీ కూడా సుప్రీంలో పిటిషన్ దాఖలు చేశారు.
