సిమ్ స్వాప్ మోసాలను అరికట్టేందుకు టెలికం నియంత్రణ సంస్థ ట్రాయ్.. మొబైల్ నంబర్ పోర్టబిలిటీ నిబంధనలను సవరించింది.
Hyderabad, Mar 19: సిమ్ స్వాప్ (SIM Swap) మోసాలను అరికట్టేందుకు టెలికం నియంత్రణ సంస్థ ట్రాయ్ (TRAI).. మొబైల్ నంబర్ పోర్టబిలిటీ నిబంధనలను సవరించింది. దొంగతనానికి గురైన లేదా దెబ్బతిన్న సిమ్ కార్డుకు బదులుగా కొత్త సిమ్ కార్డును పొందినా, కొత్త సిమ్ కార్డును కొనుగోలు చేసినా, ఆ తేదీ నుంచి ఏడు రోజుల వరకు వేరే నెట్ వర్క్ కు మారకూడదు. టెలికం ఆపరేటర్లు ఈ ఏడు రోజు ల్లో యూనిక్ పోర్టింగ్ కోడ్ ను యూజర్ కు పంపించకూడదు. జూలై 1 నుంచి కొత్త నిబంధనలు అమల్లోకి వస్తాయి. సిమ్ స్వాప్ మోసాలను అరికట్టేందుకే కొత్త రూల్స్ తీసుకొచ్చినట్టు ట్రాయ్ తెలిపింది.
