ఫిఫా వరల్డ్ కప్ పోటీల కోసం ఖతార్ ప్రభుత్వం నిర్మించిన ఏడు స్టేడియాలలో ఖతార్ ఐఎస్ డీ కోడ్ 974 స్టేడియం ఒకటి. ఇది దోహాలో సముద్రపు ఒడ్డున ఉంది. ఫిపా వరల్డ్ కప్ 2022 తర్వాత ఈ స్టేడియంను కూల్చేస్తామని అధికారులు అంటున్నారు అధికారులు.రీసైకిల్ చేసిన షిప్పింగ్ కంటెయినర్లతో కట్టిన ఈ స్టేడియం అందాలు చివరిసారిగా చూడండంటూ ఓ వీడియోను సోషల్ మీడియాలో పోస్ట్ చేశారు. ఈ స్టేడియం నిర్మాణంలో 974 షిప్పింగ్ కంటెయినర్లను ఉపయోగించారు.
ఇందులో 44 వేలమంది ప్రేక్షకులు కూచునేందుకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేశారు. ఈ స్టేడియంలో మొత్తం ఐదు మ్యాచ్ లు జరిగాయి. నిన్న బ్రెజిల్, సౌత్ కొరియాల మధ్య జరిగిన మ్యాచ్ ఈ స్టేడియానికి చివరి మ్యాచ్.. ఫిఫా వరల్డ్ కప్ ముగియగానే ఈ స్టేడియాన్ని కూల్చేస్తామని ప్రభుత్వం ఇప్పటికే ప్రకటించింది.
