Newdelhi, Feb 7: చిలీ (Chile) దేశ మాజీ అధ్యక్షుడు సెబాస్టియన్ పినేరా (74) (Sebastian Pinera) హెలికాఫ్టర్ ప్రమాదంలో దుర్మరణం చెందారు. మంగళవారం లాగో రాంకో టౌన్‌లో హెలికాఫ్టర్ కూలడంతో ఆయన మరణించారు. హెలికాఫ్టర్‌ లోని మిగతా ముగ్గురు ప్రయాణికులు ప్రాణాలతో బయటపడ్డారు. మాజీ అధ్యక్షుడి మృతితో యావత్ దేశం శోక సంద్రంలో కూరుకుపోయింది. వివిధ దేశాధినేతలు తమ సంతాపం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. పినేరా రెండు సార్లు చిలీ దేశాధ్యక్ష పదవిని అధిష్టించారు. 2010-14, 2018-2022 మధ్య కాలంలో ఆయన అధ్యక్షుడిగా ఉన్నారు.
