అక్కడ దక్షిణ కొరియా దేశానికి చెందిన సినిమాలను, అమెరికన్ నాటకాన్ని చూశారు. వీటిని తోటి విద్యార్థులకు షేర్ చేశారు. దాంతో ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేసిన ప్రభుత్వం వారిద్దరినీ ప్రజల మధ్య కాల్చి చంపాలని ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది. వీరిద్దర్నీ హెసాన్ నగరంలో జనం చూస్తుండగానే బహిరంగంగా పోలీసులు కాల్చి చంపారని రేడియో ఫ్రీ ఆసియా నివేదిక తెలిపింది.
