2023లో, ఆర్థిక లావాదేవీల కోసం UPI అత్యంత ప్రజాదరణ పొందిన, విస్తృతంగా ఉపయోగించే ప్లాట్ఫారమ్లలో ఒకటిగా నిలిచింది. మనీకంట్రోల్ డిప్యూటీ ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ ఎడిటర్ చంద్ర ఆర్. శ్రీకాంత్ అధికారిక పోస్ట్ ప్రకారం , UPI ద్వారా జరిగిన లావాదేవీలు 2023లో 100 బిలియన్ల మార్కును దాటి 118 బిలియన్లకు చేరువయ్యాయి. 2022తో పోలిస్తే 2022లో UPI లావాదేవీలు 74 బిలియన్లుగా నమోదయ్యాయని, ఇది 60% వృద్ధిని గుర్తించిందని పోస్ట్ పేర్కొంది. మనీకంట్రోల్ నివేదిక ప్రకారం , ప్లాట్ఫారమ్ "రూ. 18.23 లక్షల కోట్ల సంచిత విలువ"తో 12 బిలియన్ల లావాదేవీలను చూసింది. 2023లో UPI లావాదేవీలు రూ. 182 లక్షల కోట్లుగా ఉన్నాయని, 2022లో రూ. 126 లక్షల కోట్ల కంటే 44% ఎక్కువ అని నివేదిక పేర్కొంది.
