కన్నడ నటుడు రిషబ్ శెట్టి స్వీయ దర్శకత్వంలో రూపొంది రికార్డులు సృష్టించిన ‘కాంతార’ సినిమాకు మరో అరుదైన గౌరవం లభించింది. జెనీవాలోని ఐక్యరాజ్య సమితి కార్యాలయంలో నేడు ఈ సినిమాను ప్రదర్శించనున్నారు.
Newdelhi, March 17: కన్నడ నటుడు రిషబ్ శెట్టి (Rishab shetty) స్వీయ దర్శకత్వంలో రూపొంది రికార్డులు సృష్టించిన ‘కాంతార’ (Kantara) సినిమాకు మరో అరుదైన గౌరవం లభించింది. జెనీవాలోని ఐక్యరాజ్య సమితి (United Nations) కార్యాలయంలో నేడు ఈ సినిమాను ప్రదర్శించనున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో నటుడు, దర్శకుడు రిషభ్‌ శెట్టి ఇప్పటికే స్విట్జర్లాండ్ చేరుకున్నారు. సినిమా స్క్రీనింగ్ ముగిసిన అనంతరం పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణలో భారతీయ సినిమాల పాత్రపై ఆయన ప్రసంగిస్తారు. భారతీయ సినిమాలు పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణపై అవగాహన పెంచాయని, తన సినిమా ‘కాంతార’లోనూ ఆ అంశాన్ని ప్రస్తావించినట్టు రిషభ్‌ చెప్పారు. కాగా, ఐక్యరాజ్య సమితిలో ప్రదర్శితమయ్యే తొలి చిత్రంగా ‘కాంతార’ రికార్డులకెక్కబోతోంది.
Writer, director and actor @shetty_rishab reached United Nations, Geneva. His film #Kantara is all set to be screened at the UN on March 17 which is also actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s birth anniversary. (1/2)
