ఓటరు కార్డుతో ఆధార్ను అనుసంధానించే అంశంపై కేంద్రం మరోసారి పార్లమెంట్లో వివరణ ఇచ్చింది. ఇది పూర్తిగా పౌరుల స్వచ్ఛందపరమైన అంశమని, ఇది ప్రతి ఒక్కరి వ్యక్తిగత నిర్ణయమని పేర్కొంది.
Newdelhi, Dec 17: ఓటరు కార్డుతో (Voter Card) ఆధార్ను (Aadhaar) అనుసంధానించే అంశంపై కేంద్రం మరోసారి పార్లమెంట్లో (Parliament) వివరణ ఇచ్చింది. ఇది పూర్తిగా పౌరుల స్వచ్ఛందపరమైన అంశమని, ఇది ప్రతి ఒక్కరి వ్యక్తిగత నిర్ణయమని పేర్కొంది. ఎవరైనా తన ఆధార్ను లింక్ చేయకపోయినా, ఓటరు కార్డు నుండి వారి పేరు తొలగించబోమని కేంద్ర న్యాయశాఖ మంత్రి కిరణ్ రిజిజు (Kiran Rijiju) అన్నారు.
ఈ మేరకు శుక్రవారం లోక్సభలో ఒక ప్రశ్నకు లిఖితపూర్వకంగా సమాధానం ఇచ్చారు.
