భార్యపై నిరాధారమైన వ్యభిచార ఆరోపణలు మానసిక క్రూరత్వం కిందకు వస్తాయని కర్ణాటక హైకోర్టు తాజాగా తీర్పును వెలువరించింది. ఈ కేసులో వ్యభిచారంపై నిరాధారమైన ఆరోపణలు చేయడం ద్వారా తన భార్యను మానసిక క్రూరత్వానికి గురిచేసినట్లుగా భర్తను గుర్తించిన న్యాయస్థానం అతనికి రూ. 10,000 జరిమానా విధించింది.

భార్య వ్యభిచారం చేస్తుందని ఆరోపణలు, భార్య పాత్రపై అనుమానం, పిల్లల పితృత్వాన్ని అనుమానించడం, భార్య, కొడుకును డీఎన్‌ఏ పరీక్ష చేయించుకోవాలని భర్త ఒత్తిడి చేయడం వంటి నిరాధారమైన ఆరోపణలు పిటిషనర్ భార్యపై మానసిక క్రూరత్వానికి పాల్పడుతున్నాయని పేర్కొంది. దీంతో భర్త విడాకుల పిటిషన్ ను ధర్మాసనం కొట్టేసింది.
