కరోనా నుంచి కోలుకుంటున్న సమయంలో మరో వైరస్ భయాందోళనలకు గురిచేస్తున్నది. ఆఫ్రికన్ దేశాల్లో బయటపడిన మంకీపాక్స్ వైరస్ (Monkeypox Outbreak) వేగంగా ప్రపంచ దేశాలకు విస్తరిస్తున్నది. భారత్ లోకి కూడా మంకీఫాక్స్ వచ్చిందనే అందోళన మొదలైంది. విదేశాల నుంచి దేశంలోకి అడుగుపెడుతున్న వారికి ముంబై ఎయిర్ పోర్ట్ అధికారులు స్క్రీనింగ్ టెస్టులు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. వీరిలో మంకీఫాక్స్ వైరస్ వచ్చిందనే అనుమానం కలిగితే వారిని వెంటనే ఐసోలేషన్ కి పంపుతున్నారు. ఇందు కోసం ముంబై కస్తూర్బా హాస్పిటల్లో 28 పడకలతో ప్రత్యేక వార్డు సిద్ధం చేశామని, శాంపిల్స్ NIV పూణేకు పంపబడతాయని బృహన్ ముంబయి మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ తెలిపింది.
