ప్రైవేట్ రంగ దిగ్గజ బ్యాంకులైన ఐసీఐసీఐ, కోటక్ మహీంద్రా బ్యాంక్కు ఆర్బీఐ భారీ షాకిచ్చింది. రెగ్యులేటరీ నిబంధనల్ని ఉల్లంఘించినందుకు గాను ఐసీఐసీఐ బ్యాంక్కు రూ.12.19 కోట్లు, కోటక్ మహీంద్రా బ్యాంక్కు రూ.3.95 కోట్లు చొప్పున జరిమానా విధించింది.
RBI imposes Penalties on ICICI Bank & Kotak Mahindra Banks: ప్రైవేట్ రంగ దిగ్గజ బ్యాంకులైన ఐసీఐసీఐ, కోటక్ మహీంద్రా బ్యాంక్కు ఆర్బీఐ భారీ షాకిచ్చింది. రెగ్యులేటరీ నిబంధనల్ని ఉల్లంఘించినందుకు గాను ఐసీఐసీఐ బ్యాంక్కు రూ.12.19 కోట్లు, కోటక్ మహీంద్రా బ్యాంక్కు రూ.3.95 కోట్లు చొప్పున జరిమానా విధించింది.
లోన్ అడ్వాన్స్లు చట్టబద్ధమైన, ఇతర నిబంధనలు; మోసాల వర్గీకరణ, కమర్షియల్ బ్యాంకుల రిపోర్టింగ్కు సంబంధించి ఆర్బీఐ జారీ చేసిన నిబంధనలు పాటించనందుకు ఐసీఐసీఐ బ్యాంక్కు ఈ జరిమానా విధించినట్లు ఆర్బీఐ పేర్కొంది. అయితే, ఈ పెనాల్టీకి బ్యాంకుల కస్టమర్లకు ఏమాత్రం సంబంధం లేదని ఆర్బీఐ స్పష్టంచేసింది. కాగా, ఇటీవల కేవైసీ నిబందల్ని పాటించడంలో విఫలమైందంటూ పేటీఎం పేమెంట్స్ బ్యాంక్కు రూ.5.39 కోట్ల జరిమానా విధించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.
