బంగాళాఖాతంలో ఏర్పడిన అల్పపీడన ప్రభావంతో తమిళనాడు, కర్ణాటకలో భారీ వర్షాలు కురుస్తున్నాయి. భారీ వర్షాల నేపథ్యంలో తమిళనాడులో రెడ్ అలర్ట్ను ప్రకటించింది వాతావరణ శాఖ. ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని హెచ్చరించింది.
బంగాళాఖాతంలో ఏర్పడిన అల్పపీడన ప్రభావంతో తమిళనాడు, కర్ణాటకలో భారీ వర్షాలు కురుస్తున్నాయి. భారీ వర్షాల నేపథ్యంలో తమిళనాడులో రెడ్ అలర్ట్ను ప్రకటించింది వాతావరణ శాఖ. ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని హెచ్చరించింది. తమిళనాడులోని అనేక జిల్లాల్లో భారీ వర్షాలు కురుస్తున్నాయి. నీలగిరి పర్వత శ్రేణుల్లోనూ, ఊటీలో, కన్యాకుమారి, టెన్కాశీ, కోయంబత్తూరు, తిరునల్వేలి, తూత్తుకుడి జిల్లాల్లో కుండ పోత వర్షం కురుస్తుంది. దీంతో జలపాతాలు పొంగిపొర్లుతున్నాయి. కుండపోత వానలు కారణంగా ప్రజలు ఇబ్బంది పడుతున్నారు. లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాలు ఇప్పటికే జలమయమయ్యాయి. భారీ వర్షాల నేపథ్యంలో జనజీవనం స్తంభించిపోయింది. వరదల కారణంగా లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాలు జలమయ్యాయి. దీంతో, అధికారులు వారిని సురక్షిత ప్రాంతాలకు తరలిస్తున్నారు. నేడు నైరుతి బంగాళాఖాతంలో అల్పపీడనం.. 24 గంటల్లో వాయుగుండంగా అల్పపీడనం.. 5 రోజుల పాటు ఏపీ, తెలంగాణలో వర్షాలు..
