భారత ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థ భారత హెవీ ఎలక్ట్రికల్స్ లిమిటెడ్ (భెల్) వందేభారత్ రైళ్ల సరఫరా ఆర్డర్ను చేజిక్కించుకుంది. ఒక్కో రైలుకు రూ. 120 కోట్ల చొప్పున మొత్తం రూ.9600 కోట్ల ఆర్డర్ను సొంతం చేసుకుంది.
Newdelhi, April 12: భారత ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థ భారత హెవీ ఎలక్ట్రికల్స్ లిమిటెడ్ (భెల్) (BHEL) వందేభారత్ రైళ్ల (Vande Bharat Express) సరఫరా ఆర్డర్ను (Order) చేజిక్కించుకుంది. ఒక్కో రైలుకు రూ. 120 కోట్ల చొప్పున మొత్తం రూ.9600 కోట్ల ఆర్డర్ను సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఈ కన్షార్షియంలో భాగస్వామిగా ఉన్న టిటాగఢ్ వ్యాగన్స్తో కలిసి భెల్ ఈ రైళ్లను తయారు చేయనుంది. 35 ఏళ్ల కాలానికి వార్షిక నిర్వహణ కాంట్రాక్ట్ (ఏఎంసీ) కూడా ఇందులో ఉన్నట్టు భెల్ తెలిపింది. ప్రస్తుతం నడుస్తున్న వందేభారత్ రైళ్లలో చైర్ కార్, ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ చైర్ కార్లు మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి. దీంతో స్లీపర్ క్లాస్ రైళ్లు నడపాలన్న డిమాండ్ వినిపిస్తోంది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలోనే ప్రభుత్వం ఆర్డర్లు పిలవగా భెల్ దానిని దక్కించుకుంది.
