ప్రముఖ నర్తకి ,పద్మవిభూషణ్ యామినీ కృష్ణమూర్తి ఇక లేరు. కొంతకాలంగా అనారోగ్య సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతున్న ఆమె ఢిల్లీలోని అపోలో ఆస్పత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతూ మృతి చెందారు.
Delhi, Aug 3: ప్రముఖ నర్తకి ,పద్మవిభూషణ్ యామినీ కృష్ణమూర్తి ఇక లేరు. కొంతకాలంగా అనారోగ్య సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతున్న ఆమె ఢిల్లీలోని అపోలో ఆస్పత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతూ మృతి చెందారు. ఆమె వయస్సు 84.
యామినీ కృష్ణమూర్తి స్వస్థలం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లోని చిత్తూరు. ప్రముఖ పుణ్యక్షేత్రం తిరుమల ఆస్థాన నర్తకిగా సేవలందించారు. ఢిల్లీలో యామినీ స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ డ్యాన్స్ స్థాపించి ఎంతో మందికి శిక్షణ ఇచ్చారు. 1968లో పద్మ శ్రీ,2001లో పద్మ భూషణ్, 2016లో పద్మ విభూషణ్ అవార్డులతో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం సత్కరించింది. ఏ ప్యాషన్ ఫర్ డ్యాన్స్ పేరుతో పుస్తకాన్ని సైతం రచించారు. క్వార్టర్ ఫైనల్స్లో దీపికా కుమారి ఓటమి,ఆర్చరీ ఈవెంట్లో సెమీస్ ఛాన్స్ మిస్
