Ford Layoffs: ఆటోమొబైల్ రంగంలో భారీ లేఆప్స్, మూడు వేల మంది ఉద్యోగులను తొలగిస్తున్న అమెరికన్ దిగ్గజం ఫోర్డ్

అమెరికన్ ఆటోమొబైల్ దిగ్గజం ఫోర్డ్ (Ford) తమ సంస్థలోని ఉద్యోగులకు లేఆఫ్ లు విధిస్తున్నట్లు ప్రకటించింది. కంపెనీ నిర్ణయంతో అమెరికా (America), కెనడా (Canada)లోని సంస్థల్లో పనిచేస్తున్న ఇంజినీరింగ్ ఉద్యోగులపై ఈ ప్రభావం ఉండనుంది. మొత్తం 3 వేల మందిని తొలగించనున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. వీరిలో రెండు వేల మంది సాధారణ సిబ్బంది కాగా, మిగతా వెయ్యి మంది కాంట్రాక్ట్ ఉద్యోగులని సమాచారం. తాజాగా లేఆఫ్స్ ప్రభావం అన్ని స్థాయిల్లో ఉన్న ఉద్యోగులపై పడనుంది. అయితే ఇందులో ఎక్కువగా ఉన్నత స్థాయి ఉద్యోగులే ఉన్నట్లు సమాచారం.

లేఆఫ్ లకు సంబంధించిన సమాచారాన్ని సిబ్బందికి ఈ-మెయిల్ ద్వారా తెలియజేసింది. మరోవైపు భారత్ సహా ఇతర దేశాల్లో ఫోర్డ్ వాహనాలకు డిమాండ్ పడిపోవడంతో నిర్వహణ ఖర్చులు పెరిగిపోయాయి. దీంతో తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సంస్థ.. ఖర్చు తగ్గింపులో భాగంగా ఉద్యోగుల్ని తొలగించేందుకు సిద్ధమైనట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
