భూమికి అత్యంత సమీపంలో ఓ గ్రహశకలం కనువిందు చేయనున్నది. దీనికి ముద్దుగా ‘క్రిస్మస్ ఆస్టరాయిడ్ 2022’గా పేరు పెట్టారు. అమెరికాలోని స్టాట్యూ ఆఫ్ లిబర్టీ అంత పరిమాణంలో ఉండే ‘2015 ఆర్ఎన్ 35’ పేరుగల ఈ గ్రహశకలం ఈ నెల 15న భూమికి 6,86,000 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో నుంచి వెళ్తుందని యురోపియన్ స్పేస్ ఏజెన్సీ తెలిపింది.
