Newdelhi, Feb 10: ఆర్థిక మాంద్య భయాలతో టెక్ కంపెనీలు ఉద్యోగాల కోతకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టాయి. ఒక్క జనవరి నెలలోనే 50 వేల మందికి పైగానే ఉద్యోగులను టెక్ కంపెనీలు ఉద్యోగం నుండి తీసివేశాయి. వీటిలో అమెజాన్, గూగుల్, డెల్, ఐబీఎం, మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ వంటి టాప్ కంపెనీలు ఉన్నాయి. ఇప్పుడు ఈ జాబితాలోకి యాహూ కూడా చేరింది. వచ్చే ఏడాది వ్యవధిలో తమ మొత్తం ఉద్యోగుల్లో 20 శాతం లేదా 1700 మందిని ఇంటికి సాగనంపనున్నట్టు వెల్లడించింది.
సంస్థ పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణలో భాగంగా ఉద్యోగులను తొలగించేందుకు నిర్ణయించినట్టు పేర్కొంది. సంస్థ ప్రకటనల విభాగంలో అత్యధికంగా 50 శాతం మంది ప్రభావితం కానున్నారని చెప్పింది. అంతేకాకుండా.. ఈ వారం సుమారు వెయ్యి మందిని తొలగించొచ్చని పేర్కొంది.
