దేశంలో సోషల్ మీడియా ప్లాట్ఫామ్ 'ఎక్స్'కు అంతరాయం కలిగించడం దాని దుర్వినియోగం యొక్క ఆందోళనలను పరిష్కరించడమేనని పాకిస్తాన్ అంతర్గత వ్యవహారాల మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఇస్లామాబాద్ హైకోర్టు (ఐహెచ్సి)కి బుధవారం తెలిపింది. నిషేధాన్ని సవాలు చేస్తూ జర్నలిస్టు ఎహ్తిషామ్ అబ్బాసీ వేసిన పిటిషన్పై ఐహెచ్సి ఆదేశాలపై మంత్రిత్వ శాఖకు ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహిస్తున్న అంతర్గత కార్యదర్శి ఖుర్రం అఘా నివేదికను సమర్పించారు. X సేవలకు రెండు నెలలు అంతరాయం ఏర్పడిందని పాకిస్తాన్ గుర్తించినందున ఇది జరిగింది.
అంతర్గత మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ సమర్పించిన నివేదికలో "Twitter/X పాకిస్తాన్ ప్రభుత్వం యొక్క చట్టబద్ధమైన ఆదేశాలకు కట్టుబడి ఉండటం మరియు దాని ప్లాట్ఫారమ్ దుర్వినియోగానికి సంబంధించిన ఆందోళనలను పరిష్కరించడంలో విఫలమైనందున నిషేధం విధించాల్సిన అవసరం ఏర్పడింది" అని పేర్కొంది.
