దేశ ఆర్థిక రాజధాని ముంబై (Mumbai )లోని ఘట్కోపర్ ప్రాంతంలో ఎమిరేట్స్ విమానం (Emirates Flight) ఢీ కొని సుమారు 37 ఫ్లెమింగోలు (Flamingos) మరణించాయి. అధికారులు తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం.. సోమవారం రాత్రి 9:18 గంటల సమయంలో దుబాయ్ నుంచి వచ్చిన ఎమిరేట్స్ ఈకే 508 విమానం ముంబై విమానాశ్రయంలో ల్యాండింగ్కు ముందు పక్షులను ఢీ కొట్టింది. ఘట్కోపర్ పరిసర ప్రాంతాల్లో ఫ్లెమింగో కళేబరాలు లభ్యమైనట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ ఘటనలో విమానం కూడా కొంతమేర దెబ్బతిన్నట్లు తెలిపారు. ఘటన నేపథ్యంలో రిటర్న్ ఫ్లైట్ను అధికారులు రద్దు చేశారు. వాటి మరణానికి ఖచ్చితమైన కారణాన్ని తెలుసుకునేందుకు కళేబరాలను శవపరీక్ష కోసం పంపినట్లు రెస్కింక్ అసోసియేషన్ ఫర్ వైల్డ్ లైఫ్ వెల్ఫేర్ వ్యవస్థాపకుడు పవన్ శర్మ తెలిపారు. ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్స కోసం వచ్చిన దంపతులు,హాస్పిటల్ ద్వారం వద్ద ఉన్న ఓ చెట్టు కూలడంతో భర్త మృతి, భార్యకు తీవ్ర గాయాలు
