Ford Layoff: ఆటోమొబైల్ రంగంలో ఉద్యోగాల కోత షురూ, 3200 మందికి ఉద్వాసన పలకనున్న ఆటో మేకర్ దిగ్గజం ఫోర్డ్‌ మోటార్‌

యూఎస్‌ బేస్డ్‌ ఆటో మేకర్‌ ఫోర్డ్‌ మోటార్‌ ఉద్యోగులకు మరోసారి షాకిస్తోంది. ఐరోపా అంతటా దాదాపు 3200 మందికి ఉద్వాసన పలకనుందన్న వార్త కలకవరం రేపింది. వీరిలో ఎక్కువగా జర్మనీలోని ఉద్యోగులు ప్రభావితమైనట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. జర్మనీలోని ఐజీ మెటల్ యూనియన్ ఉటంకిస్తూ రాయిటర్స్‌ రిపోర్ట్‌ చేసింది. దీని ప్రకారం 2,500 వరకు ప్రొడక్ట్‌ డెవలప్‌మెంట్‌ జాబ్స్‌ , 700 వరకు అడ్మినిస్ట్రేటివ్ ఉద్యోగులను తీసివేయనుంది. జర్మన్ ప్లాంట్స్‌ ఎక్కువగా ప్రభావితం కానున్నాయి. అయితే ఈ ఉద్యోగ కోతలు అమల్లోకి వస్తే పోరాటానికి దిగుతామని యూనియన్ బెదిరించింది.

ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహనాల బ్యాటరీలలో ఉపయోగించే మెటీరియల్‌ల కోసం పెరుగుతున్న ఖర్చులు, అమెరికా ఐరోపా ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థల మందగమనంతోపాటు, వాహన తయారీదారులు ఖర్చులను తగ్గించుకోవాల్సిన ఒత్తిడిని ఎదుర్కొంటున్నాయని నిపుణులు భావిస్తున్నారు. ముఖ్యంగా ఈ నెల ప్రారంభంలో టెస్లా ప్రారంభించిన ఈవీ ప్రైస్‌ వార్‌ ఈ ఒత్తిడిని మరింత పెంచిందని అంచనా .
