అక్టోబరు మొదటి వారంలో బంగాళాఖాతంలో తుఫాను ఏర్పడే అవకాశం ఉందన్న నివేదికలపై IMD DG మృత్యుంజయ్ మహపాత్ర క్లారిటీ ఇచ్చారు.ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ..'ఇంకా తుఫానుపై IMD నుంచి ఎటువంటి సూచన చేయలేదు.అయితే డిప్రెషన్గా వ్యవస్థ తీవ్రతరం అయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపారు. మరిన్ని అప్ డేట్ల కోసం భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ బులిటెన్ ఫాలో కావాలని సూచించారు.
