ప్రభుత్వం శుక్రవారం ఐదేళ్ల రికరింగ్ డిపాజిట్ స్కీమ్పై వడ్డీ రేటును డిసెంబర్ త్రైమాసికంలో 6.5 శాతం నుంచి 6.7 శాతానికి పెంచింది మరియు అన్ని ఇతర చిన్న పొదుపు పథకాల రేట్లను అలాగే ఉంచింది.ఆర్థిక మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ సర్క్యులర్ ప్రకారం, పొదుపు డిపాజిట్పై వడ్డీ రేటు 4 శాతం మరియు ఒక సంవత్సరం కాల వ్యవధి డిపాజిట్పై 6.9 శాతం వద్ద ఉంచబడింది.

సెప్టెంబరు త్రైమాసికంలోనూ రేట్లు ఇలాగే ఉన్నాయి.రెండు సంవత్సరాల మరియు మూడు సంవత్సరాల టర్మ్ డిపాజిట్లపై వడ్డీ రేటు 7 శాతం కాగా, ఐదేళ్ల టర్మ్ డిపాజిట్పై రేటు 7.5 శాతం. సీనియర్ సిటిజన్స్ సేవింగ్స్ స్కీమ్ 8.2 శాతం వడ్డీ రేటును పొందుతుంది.నెలవారీ ఆదాయ ఖాతా పథకంపై, వడ్డీ రేటు 7.4 శాతం కాగా, నేషనల్ సేవింగ్స్ సర్టిఫికెట్పై 7.7 శాతం మరియు పబ్లిక్ ప్రావిడెంట్ ఫండ్ (PPF) పథకంపై 7.1 శాతం.
