ఈ రోజు వక్ఫ్ బిల్లుపై దేశ రాజధాని ఢిల్లీలో సంయుక్త పార్లమెంటరీ సంఘం మీటింగ్ జరిగింది. బీజేపీ ఎంపీ జగదాంబికా పాల్ నేతృత్వంలో జేపీసీ మీటింగ్ జరిగింది.రిటైర్డ్ జడ్జీలు, లాయర్లు ప్యానల్ ఇచ్చిన అభిప్రాయాలను ఆ సమావేశంలో చర్చించారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో తృణమూల్ కాంగ్రెస్ ఎంపీ కళ్యాణ్ బెనర్జీ(TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee) గాయపడ్డారు.

వక్ఫ్ బిల్లు సవరణ అంశంలో టీఎంసీ, బీజేపీ ఎంపీల మధ్య వాగ్వాదం చోటుచేసుకున్నది. బీజేపీ ఎంపీ అభిజిత్ గంగోపాధ్యాయతో ఎంపీ కళ్యాణ్ బెనర్జీ వాగ్వాదానికి దిగారు. ఆ సమయంలో ఆవేశానికి లోనైన టీఎంసీ ఎంపీ తన చేతిలో ఉన్న గ్లాసు వాటర్ బాటిల్ను పగలగొట్టేశాడు. దాంతో అతని బొటనవేలు, చూపాడు వేలికి గాయాలు అయ్యాయి. ఎంఐఎం చీఫ్ అసదుద్దీన్ ఓవైసీ, ఆప్ నేత సంజయ్ సింగ్.. టీఎంసీ ఎంపీ కళ్యాణ్ బెనర్జీని చికిత్స కోసం బయటకు తీసుకువచ్చారు. బీజేపీ ఎంపీ జగదాంబికా పాల్ నేతృత్వంలో జేపీసీ మీటింగ్ జరిగింది.రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాల కోసమే వక్ఫ్ సవరణ బిల్లును అధికార పార్టీ తీసుకువచ్చినట్లు ఎంపీ బెనర్జీ ఆరోపించారు.
