ఉత్తరకాశీలో గంగోత్రి-యమునోత్రి జాతీయ రహదారిపై వెళ్తున్న చార్ధామ్ యాత్రికుల బస్సు దమ్టా వద్ద లోయలో పడింది. ఈ దుర్ఘటనలో 22 యాత్రికులు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. ఆస్సత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతూ మరో నలుగరు మరణించారు. దీంతో మృతుల సంఖ్య 26కు చేరుకుంది.

ఉత్తరాఖండ్లో ఆదివారం సాయంత్రం ఘోర బస్సు ప్రమాదం సంభవించింది. ఉత్తరకాశీలో గంగోత్రి-యమునోత్రి జాతీయ రహదారిపై వెళ్తున్న చార్ధామ్ యాత్రికుల బస్సు దమ్టా వద్ద లోయలో పడింది. ఈ దుర్ఘటనలో 22 యాత్రికులు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. ఆస్సత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతూ మరో నలుగరు మరణించారు. దీంతో మృతుల సంఖ్య 26కు చేరుకుంది. మరో నలుగురు తీవ్రంగా గాయపడి ఆస్పత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతున్నారు. క్షతగాత్రులను ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించారు. సహాయకచర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.
ప్రమాద సమయంలో బస్సులో 30 మంది ఉన్నట్టుగా తెలిసింది. మధ్యప్రదేశ్కు చెందిన చార్ధామ్ యాత్రికులు యమునోత్రి వెళ్తుండగా బస్సు ప్రమాదానికి గురైంది. యాత్రికులంతా మధ్యప్రదేశ్కు చెందినవారు. పాట్నా నుంచి యాత్రకు బయల్దేరారు. ఉత్తరాఖండ్లోని ఉత్తరకాశీ జిల్లాలో దమ్త దగ్గర బస్సు లోయలో పడింది. బస్సు ప్రమాదంపై ప్రధాని మోదీ దిగ్భ్రాంతి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. మృతుల కుటుంబాలకు సానుభూతి తెలిపారు. ప్రమాదంలో మరణించిన వారి కుటుంబాలకు రూ. 2 లక్షలు, గాయపడిన వారికి రూ. 50వేల చొప్పున ఎక్స్గ్రేషియా ప్రకటించారు. ఈ మేరకు ప్రధాని కార్యాలయం ట్వీట్ చేసింది.

The Prime Minister has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF for the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the accident in Uttarakhand. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000 each.
