కర్ణాటక కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అధ్యక్షుడు డీకే శివకుమార్ (DK Shivakumar)కీలక వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. రానున్న ఎన్నికల్లో రాష్ట్రంలోని మొత్తం 224 స్థానాలకుగాను మూడింట రెండొంతుల సీట్లు తమకే వస్తాయని చెప్పారు.ఈసారి తాము ఏ పార్టీతో ఎలాంటి పొత్తులు పెట్టుకోదల్చుకోలేదని తెలిపారు.

ఎందుకంటే ఈసారి ప్రభుత్వ ఏర్పాటుకు కావాల్సిన మ్యాజిక్ ఫిగర్ను మించి తాము ఘన విజయం సాధించబోతున్నామన్నారు. కన్నడ ప్రజలు బీజేపీ పాలనతో విసిగిపోయారని, అందుకే ఇప్పుడు మార్పు కోరుకుంటున్నారని ఆయన తెలిపారు.కర్ణాటకలో మొత్తం 224 అసెంబ్లీ స్థానాలకు ఒకే విడతలో మే 10న పోలింగ్ జరగనుంది. మే 13న ఫలితాలు వెల్లడికానున్నాయి.
