భారత నూతన రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నిక కోసం సోమవారం జరిగిన పోలింగ్కు సంబంధించి 99.18 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదు అయ్యింది. ఈ మేరకు రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికల రిటర్నింగ్ అధికారిగా వ్యవహరించిన రాజ్యసభ సెక్రటరీ జనరల్ పీసీ మోదీ సోమవారం సాయంత్రం పోలింగ్ వివరాలను వెల్లడించారు.
భారత నూతన రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నిక కోసం సోమవారం జరిగిన పోలింగ్కు సంబంధించి 99.18 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదు అయ్యింది. ఈ మేరకు రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికల రిటర్నింగ్ అధికారిగా వ్యవహరించిన రాజ్యసభ సెక్రటరీ జనరల్ పీసీ మోదీ సోమవారం సాయంత్రం పోలింగ్ వివరాలను వెల్లడించారు. రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికల పోలింగ్ను ఢిల్లీలోని పార్లమెంటుతో పాటు ఆయా రాష్ట్రాల్లోని అసెంబ్లీల్లో నిర్వహించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ క్రమంలో ఢిల్లీలో నమోదైన పోలింగ్ వివరాలను మాత్రమే పీసీ మోదీ వెల్లడించారు.
ఢిల్లీలోని పార్లమెంటు పోలింగ్ కేంద్రంలో మొత్తంగా 736 మంది ఓట్లు వేయాల్సి ఉంది. వీరిలో ఎంపీలు 727 మంది ఉండగా... ఆయా రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన 9 మంది ఎమ్మెల్యేలకు డిల్లీలోనే ఓటు హక్కు వినియోగించుకునేందుకు ఎన్నికల సంఘం అనుమతించింది. వెరసి మొత్తంగా 736 ఓట్లు ఉండగా... 730 ఓట్లు మాత్రమే పోలయ్యాయి. మరో 6 ఓట్లు పోల్ కాలేదు. ఫలితంగా ఢిల్లీలో 99.18 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదు అయ్యిందని పీసీ మోదీ చెప్పారు.
