15 రోజుల క్రితం ప్రారంభమైన చార్ ధామ్ యాత్రలో ఇప్పటివరకు 50 మందికి పైగా భక్తులు మృతి చెందారని గర్హాల్ కమిషనర్ వినయ్ శంకర్ శుక్రవారం చెప్పారు.
Newdelhi, May 25: 15 రోజుల క్రితం ప్రారంభమైన చార్ ధామ్ (Char Dham) యాత్రలో ఇప్పటివరకు 50 మందికి పైగా భక్తులు (Pilgrims) మృతి చెందారని గర్హాల్ కమిషనర్ వినయ్ శంకర్ శుక్రవారం చెప్పారు. గుండెపోటు కారణంగా అధిక మరణాలు సంభవించాయని, మృతుల్లో 60 ఏండ్లు పైబడిన వారే ఎక్కువని తెలిపారు. ముగ్గురు గంగోత్రిలో, 12 మంది యమునోత్రిలో, 14 మంది బద్రినాథ్ లో, 23 మంది కేదార్ నాథ్ లో మరణించారని వివరించారు. 50 ఏండ్లు దాటిన యాత్రికులకు వైద్య పరీక్షలు తప్పనిసరి చేశామని పేర్కొన్నారు.
