వాతావరణం పరంగా దేశ వ్యవసాయ రంగానికి, ప్రకృతి విపత్తుల నిర్వహణలో ప్రభుత్వ యంత్రాంగాలకు విశేష సేవలు అందిస్తున్న ‘భారత వాతావరణ విభాగం (ఐఎండీ) నేడు (సోమవారం) 150వ ఆవిర్భావ వార్షికోత్సవాన్ని జరుపుకుంటోంది.
Newdelhi, Jan 15: వాతావరణంపరంగా దేశ వ్యవసాయ రంగానికి (Agriculture), ప్రకృతి విపత్తుల నిర్వహణలో ప్రభుత్వ యంత్రాంగాలకు విశేష సేవలు అందిస్తున్న ‘భారత వాతావరణ విభాగం (ఐఎండీ) (IMD) నేడు (సోమవారం) 150వ ఆవిర్భావ వార్షికోత్సవాన్ని జరుపుకుంటోంది. 1875లో జనవరి 15న కోల్ కతా ప్రధాన కేంద్రంగా ఏర్పాటైన నాటి నుంచి అధికారులు ప్రతి ఏడాది వార్షికోత్సవాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. ఈ ఏడాది కూడా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా అన్ని కార్యాలయాలలో వేడుకలు జరుగుతున్నాయి.
