సాధారణంగా భరణం కేసుల్లో భార్యకు భర్త పరిహారం చెల్లించాలంటూ న్యాయస్థానాలు తీర్పులు చెబుతుంటాయి. కానీ ఆరోగ్య సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతున్న నిరుద్యోగ భర్తకు ఉద్యోగస్తురాలైన భార్య నెలకు 10 వేల రూపాయలు భరణం చెల్లించాలంటూ బాంబే హైకోర్టు ఆదేశించింది.
Newdelhi, Apr 12: సాధారణంగా భరణం కేసుల్లో (Maintenance Cases) భార్యకు భర్త పరిహారం చెల్లించాలంటూ న్యాయస్థానాలు (Courts) తీర్పులు చెబుతుంటాయి. కానీ ఆరోగ్య సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతున్న నిరుద్యోగ భర్తకు ఉద్యోగస్తురాలైన భార్య నెలకు 10 వేల రూపాయలు భరణం చెల్లించాలంటూ బాంబే హైకోర్టు ఆదేశించింది. ఈ మేరకు హిందూ వివాహ చట్టంలోని సెక్షన్‌ 24 ప్రకారం‘జీవిత భాగస్వామి’ అన్న పదం అటు భర్తకు, ఇటు భార్యకు కూడా వర్తిస్తుందని న్యాయస్థానం గుర్తుచేసింది.
