Newdelhi, Apr 26: పెళ్లి (Marriage) సందర్భంగా వధువు పుట్టింటి నుంచి బహుమతిగా తీసుకొచ్చుకునే బంగారం వంటి స్త్రీ ధనంపై భర్తకు (Husband) హక్కు ఉండదని సుప్రీంకోర్టు (Supreme Court) కీలకమైన తీర్పును వెలువరించింది. ఇలాంటి ధనంపై భర్తకు ఎలాంటి నియంత్రణ ఉండదని, అయితే కుటుంబం ఇబ్బందుల్లో ఉన్నప్పుడు దాన్ని వాడుకోవచ్చునని తెలిపింది. అయితే తర్వాత దానిని, లేదా దానికి సరిపడా మొత్తాన్ని భార్యకు తిరిగి ఇవ్వాల్సిన నైతిక బాధ్యత భర్తపైనే ఉందని స్పష్టం చేసింది. భార్య తెచ్చుకునే స్త్రీ ధనం.. ఉమ్మడి ఆస్తి ఎంతమాత్రం కాదని, దానిపై ఎలాంటి ఆధిపత్యం కానీ, యాజమాన్య హక్కులు కానీ భర్తకు సంక్రమించవని పేర్కొంది. ఓ కేసు సందర్భంగా సుప్రీం ఈ కీలక తీర్పు చెప్పింది.
