బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కవితను మనీలాండరింగ్ హవాలా చట్టం కింద అరెస్ట్ చేశామని ఈడీ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఢిల్లీ మద్యం కేసులో ఈ రోజు మధ్యాహ్నం నుంచి దాదాపు ఐదు గంటల పాటు ఆమెను విచారించిన ఈడీ అధికారులు సాయంత్రం అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు.
బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కవితను మనీలాండరింగ్ హవాలా చట్టం కింద అరెస్ట్ చేశామని ఈడీ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఢిల్లీ మద్యం కేసులో ఈ రోజు మధ్యాహ్నం నుంచి దాదాపు ఐదు గంటల పాటు ఆమెను విచారించిన ఈడీ అధికారులు సాయంత్రం అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. ఈ అరెస్ట్కు సంబంధించి కవిత భర్త అనిల్ కుమార్ కు సమాచారం అందించినట్లు పేర్కొంది. 14 పేజీల అరెస్ట్ సమాచారాన్ని భర్తకు ఇచ్చామని వెల్లడించింది. ఈ మేరకు అసిస్టెంట్ డైరెక్టర్ జోగేందర్ పేరుతో ఈడీ... కవిత భర్తకు సమాచారం ఇచ్చింది. బంజారాహిల్స్లోని కవిత నివాసంలోనే అరెస్ట్ చేసినట్లు పేర్కొంది. కాగా కవితను రాజీవ్ గాంధీ అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయం నుంచి ఢిల్లీకి తీసుకువెళుతున్నారు. రాత్రి ఈడీ కార్యాలయంలోనే విచారించే అవకాశముంది.
