తెలంగాణ పీసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు ఉత్తమ్కుమార్ రెడ్డికి కరోనా పాజిటివ్గా నిర్ధారణ అయింది. ప్రస్తుతం ఆయన హైదరాబాద్ గచ్చిబౌలిలోని ఏఐజీ ఆస్పత్రిలో చేరి చికిత్స తీసుకుంటున్నారు. కరోనా లక్షణాలు ఉండడంతో నిర్ధారణ పరీక్షలు చేయించుకున్న ఆయనకు కరోనా సోకినట్లు తేలింది.
స్కానింగ్లో ఊపిరితిత్తుల్లో ఇన్ఫెక్షన్ ఉన్నట్లు తేలడంతో వైద్యుల సూచన మేరకు ఆసుపత్రిలో చేరారు. తెలంగాణలో కరోనా విజృంభిస్తోన్న సమయంలో ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహిస్తే ప్రజలు ప్రమాదంలో పడతారని శుక్రవారమే ఉత్తమ్ అన్నారు. ఈ సమయంలో మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించడం సబబు కాదని తెలుపుతూ రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్ తమిళిసై సౌందరరాజన్కు ఆయన లేఖ కూడా రాశారు.

Got a CT lung scan today. Pneumonia caused by Covid detected. People who have been in contact with me, kindly get tested. Both rapid & RT PCR tests failed to detect COVID in my case.
Urge you to go for lung CT scan if symptoms persist despite negative RTPCR/Rapid antigen tests.
