బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ వ్యాధికి కారణమయ్యే హెచ్5 వైరస్ అమెరికాలోని కొలరాడో రాష్ర్టానికి చెందిన ఓ వ్యక్తికి సోకినట్లు సెంటర్ ఫర్ డిసీజ్ కంట్రోల్ అండ్ ప్రివెన్షన్ (సీడీసీ) వెల్లడించింది. అమెరికాలో వ్యక్తికి బర్డ్ఫ్లూ వైరస్ సోకడం ఇదే తొలిసారి. ఆ వ్యక్తి పౌల్ట్రీలో పని చేస్తుండే వాడని, వాటి నుంచే అతడిని సోకి ఉండొచ్చని చెబుతున్నారు. ఆ వ్యక్తిని ఐసోలేషన్లో ఉంచి చికిత్స అందించినట్టు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ప్రపంచం మొత్తం మీద ఇది రెండో కేసని, తొలి కేసు బ్రిటన్లో 2021 డిసెంబర్లో వెలుగులోకి వచ్చిందని సీడీసీ తెలిపింది.
